Christmas with Paw Paw

Saturday my step dad came over so we could do Christmas with him.
Little did I know he had gotten Carson a go kart.
I would say this kid is set on fun outside toys for the year. Thanks for coming over, and for our gifts, Paw paw. We love you!

Our 5th Christmas

Thursday we did Christmas out at my grandmas. She lives on a 19 acre peninsula on Lake Lewisville. Talk about the perfect place to take pictures.
While we waited on dinner to cook I had fun playing with my camera. I just need to figure out how to erase these horrible shadows.
He had so much fun playing in the hay field.
My cousin, Connor.
My sweet girl
My momma, and Parker
My mom & Aunt Beth
The kids love swinging on my grandmas porch swing.
After playing a while we did our gift exchange.
Olivia loved this big pig my aunt got her.
And, Carson was so excited to get this Duck Dynasty truck, and trailer set. He loves his trucks and trailers.
We had a fun day out at the lake. Thanks for having us over Nana. We love you!

Christmas Day

I love seeing their first reactions of what Santa brought.

He was excited to sit on his bike.
Trying out his gear.
Olivia immediately started having a tea party at her new table.
Unwrapping her Barbie big wheel.
Suited up in his new gear.
After we did our gifts my mom, sister, and brother came over for brunch. My mom makes the best pancakes. The kids enjoyed theirs at their new table. I'm so happy they will no longer be making messes on my newly refurbished kitchen table.
After we had brunch we opened more gifts. Carson got the movie Croods, and an iTunes gift card from my sister, and Andy.
My sister made my mom this cute mouse pad from Shutterfly.
Mom loving on her son in law.
My mom finally bought c a  new pair of cowboy boots. He looks so handsome in them.
Olivia got herself a new Barbie VW.
She was outside taking her baby doll for a little ride.
Who needs their hands to drive?
Ryan trying to show Carson how to ride his dirt bike.
After my mom and sister left we put the kids down for a nap, and picked up the house. We had such a relaxing Christmas Day. My MIL and FIL came over for dinner. We had Caesar salad, stuffed pork chops, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and sister Schubert rolls. It was so good! After dinner we watched Despicable Me 2. Those minions are the funniest characters.
We hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

Prepping for Santa

Once we got home from Lolly, & pops house we got ready for bed, and for Santa to come.
This year Carson wanted to leave out our favorite gingerbred cookies for Santa, and Carrots for his reindeer. Our Santa also drinks chocolate milk.
While I got the kids ready for bed Ryan got busy putting together Olivia's table and chairs, and her baby doll high chair.

I know if I was a little kid I would sure be excited to wake up to all of this.

Christmas Eve

Every Christmas Eve we go to Ryan's parents house. We open gifts, then have dinner, then do more gifts with Ryan's dads side of the family. This year Carson, and Pam put on this cute little performance for us. I will have to post a video of it later.
 Carson with his gifts.
I love seeing the excitement on their faces.

Olivia was in desperate need of a new baby doll stroller. We saw this one at Sams. It's perfect, because it's a double stroller. Double the fun.
Lolly mad Olivia a super cute Rapunzel backpack.

My kids were so tired of taking pictures by the third day of celebrating Christmas. I didn't get a good family picture, or one with Lolly & pops. Thank you Lolly, and pops for all of our gifts. Our kids are so lucky to have grandparents as wonderful as y'all.

Christmas #2

Our second Christmas celebration was with Ryan's mom's side of the family.
Ryan's mom, and Uncle Lawrence made some chili, and his nonnie made Chicken tortilla soup. I brought some of my cream cheese pinwheels. We also had snacks, and way too many desserts.
After dinner we played a few games. Ryan won a camo snuggie, and I got a baked potato warmer, and gift card wallet in our white elephant game.
 Afterwards we opened presents
Olivia loved her new baby doll.
Carson got a keyboard/karaoke set.
Making music with his cousin Cole.
Carson flying Coles new helicopter with his great uncle Richard.
 Olivia, & pops
Thank you Nonnie for having us over. We love you!
