Trick or treat

Before we headed out to trick or treat we stopped by Oma & Joes for some pictures, candy & cookies.
Oma recently just moved down the street from us. She was thrilled to see her great gkids on halloween.
       Mickey Mouse
Every year we go trick or treating in Ryan's parents neighborhood.
We always take a halloween family pic before heading out for candy.
Ryan's grandma lives caddy corner to his parents, so nonnies one of our first stops.
Cherrianna is one of Ryan's parents good friends. She also lives in their little circle. She is very generous to my kids with her candy.
My mom lives down the street from Ryan's  parents, so she walks with us every year to trick or treat. Olivia wanted meme to hold her all night.
Carson said he wasn't feeling that well and wanted to go back to Lolly's to pass out candy with pops.
Lolly made these costumes 27 years ago. Ryan and his sister, Katy wore these in 1986.
She did have to remake Minnie's head. It got misplaced.
These two were so cute, and left their costumes on so well. We had a fun night of trick or treating. I'm so glad our family is so close together, and we can do things like this.
A halloween throwback.

Pumpkins, & duck dynasty

Last Wednesday my sister, and I headed out to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch. It's my favorite one around that's cheap. You just pay $5 to park, you can bring your own food for a picnic, they have bounce houses, hayrides, tractors, and wooden cut outs of Disney characters you can take your picture with. On weekends they have food stands, but I don't suggest going on a weekend, it's pretty cray.
Olivia just doesn't know what to do with a live baby doll. She loves her cousin, Cam. I told my sister I was going to frame this picture. She was excited she's making my photo wall in the house.

I looooooooove this picture of Olivia.

Autumn & Cam
Olivia with Snow White.

This is a little orange house with pumpkins all around it. We always get our picture taken in front of it.
On a hay ride
I'm so glad my sister was able to extend her maternity leave. It was fun getting to go with her and Cam.

We missed not having Carson with us this year. Usually we stay all day, because he likes to do all the activities. It took about an hour with just the small kids. Olivia could care less about the bounce houses, and is too small for the hay maze.
Olivia in the jail house.
Every year I take the kids pictures with the ruler. It's fun to see how much they've grown in a year.
Picking out pumpkins.
And this year they added Duck Dynasty.

Thanks for going with us Autumn. We had fun with you & Cam.

Hobo or Elvis?

I finally have Carson's costume narrowed down to two.I am pretty set on the hobo one, I just dont' know if it's appropriate for a two year old. I love the Elvis one too I am just not sure if Carson will keep a wig on. I have had the hardest time choosing a costume this year because last years is so hard to beat. He just looked adorable. I know I probably put way to much thought into this, but this will be my last year I get to choose his costume. Next year he will probably want to be batman, spiderman, or hulk. I am really not into characters. I also want him to win first place in the costume contest again. I know it's shallow, but I always got first place in the contests I was in so I want to keep the tradition going.
