my new addiction

My latest addiction is... SEWING. You can't be having a baby girl and not know how to sew. There is just so much to make. I wanted to learn when I had Carson, but I wasn't as motivated because the stuff to make just wasn't as cute to me. There's so many things I want to learn with having a baby girl. Sewing is my number one, then it will be on to making bows, and headbands. Tonight I had my mom come over just teach me how to thread the needle & boppin, and make a straight stitch. After a while I got tired of that and wanted to move on to bigger and better things. Lets just say I wasn't ready for those bigger and better things to sew. It's alot more complicated than it looks. Hopefully by this time next week I will have accomplished baby leg warmers.

This will be lil' Miss St. John's bedding. All I have to do is go find the fabric. I can't wait!!! Next part is naming her. I'm not one of those people who can wait until last minute to name their children. I had Carson's name picked out pretty much right after we found out what we were having. Girl names are a different story, everything is just so trendy.

Baby names

Although, I still don't know what I'm having for another 5 1/2 days it's driving me crazy that Ryan and I can't agree on a girl name. We had this problem when I was pregnant with Carson and it turned out to be a boy. Maybe this time will be the same, who knows?? I really love the name Taytum for a girl, we'll see if I win this battle or not. If it's a boy it's for sure Cash. I am so hooked on that name, it's a plus that Carson can say it, too!

Husband saves the day (night)

The first night I decide to get out in my car after this gross weather I get a flat tire on my way home. I've never had a flat tire or a wreck so it was kind of scary. My car started just pulling to the right and being real jerky I was coming up on a gas station in perfect timing. Luckily Carson was at home with Ryan. It could have been worse, I was worried I was riding the rim that could have been a expensive disaster and with these dr bills for the baby it's the last thing we need. Ryan came to my rescue with his trailer, loaded it up, brought it home, and aired it back up. The air compressor at the gas station wasn't any good it wouldn't air it even a little. I was worried I was going to be stuck at home AGAIN.. I would not be a happy person if that were the case. I am a on the go gal for sure!

3 year anniversary

Happy Anniversary to us! I can't believe it's already been three years since I married my best friend! I couldn't ask for a better husband or daddy to Carson and our future little one coming in July!! Due to this cold weather (I ABSOLUTELY HATE) we'll be rescheduling our date. Instead we'll be lazy and watch movies. Possibly cook dinner together, but I much rather order in so I don't have to clean the kitchen. : )

I'm a big kid now

No more pull ups or diapers. I'm so proud. Carson officially pooped in the potty on his own today. I can now feel comfortable to say he is potty trained. He has been going pee pee on his own for a couple of weeks I was just waiting on him to poop, and he did! This is an old picture, but I was too lazy to try and get him to smile for me. I wish I could say that I'm excited to save money on diapers, but those diaper buying days aren't over yet. I'm already stocking up for the next one. I'm just glad I won't have two in diapers at the same time!

Loyal customer

Today I scored a free meal at Chickfila, all because I am a loyal customer. As I was ordering my meal the manager came over and said my order was on chickfila, because I come in so often. I was so excited! Can't beat a free meal!!
