I'm a fur mom!

Meet Penny & Frank!
How cute are these faces!!!!
A boy and his dog.
The ride home from picking up our pups was an exciting one! C had one and I had the other up front. Olivia was begging to hold one, and I was hoping they didn't go potty in my car.
I let her think Penny is her dog.
These two are just inseparable. When we picked them up they were snuggled together outside. They were meant to stay together.
I just love her!! Stay tuned for lots more puppy posts!!!

Friday Favorites

Happy Fri-YAY
Here's a look at what I'm loving on this gorgeous Friday.

Every other Friday is Wrangler Round up day at Carson's school. This week was extra spirited, because it's "Cross Town Show Down" Wylie High is playing Wylie East tonight. It's a big deal in town. When I was in school there was only one high school, so I will forever be a Pirate. Although, my kids will be Raiders I'm still team AHMO!!! I don't see C being a football player when he grows up, so I think it's okay I'm not big Raider supporter!
Today actually felt like Fall until this afternoon. I was loooooving these temps while I was out running errands. It felt amazing out.
I have a baby shower to go to for my step sister tomorrow. I was out picking up some last minute gifts for her. These newborn onesies were just so adorable to me. They are teensie tiny. I just can't believe I will never have another baby of my own to put in tiny clothing like this.
How cute is this outfit Lolly made for Olivia?? Lolly has had to take some time off from sewing, so it's been a while  since we got an outfit made by her. I love these skirts on Olivia.
I had to get a bow made to match Olivia's new outfit ASAP. Luckily, I have a friend here that makes the big bows I love. I text her this morning, and she had this made for me by the time we had to pick up the kids from school. You can find her here. Toni is so easy to work with and if she doesn't have the right colors you need she will get it ordered quick. Thanks Toni!!
Lunch at Sams Club. I love a quick, insanely cheap lunch. Usually I split a pizza combo with Olivia, but she wanted a hot dog today. It was still only $3 for lunch.
This afternoon I mailed off a little surprise to some special people. I need to do this more often, it's so much fun.
I'm ending my Friday favorites with this sweet face. Penny Pickle should be coming home next week. She's starting to wean off of her mommy. I can't wait to snuggle her. I can't get over how stinkin' cute she is.

Golden Mushroom pork chops

I'm linking up with Andrea for Recipe Club. Today I'm sharing my Golden Mushroom pork chop recipe. This is SOOOOO simple, yet so yummy. One of my all time favorite meals to cook.

What you need:
thin pork chops, I usually buy boneless
1 can golden mushroom soup
water
flour
salt and pepper
garlic powder
onion powder
olive oil

Heat your pan with olive oil. I rarely measure anything you just need enough to get a thin layer in your pan.
While your pan heats up wash your pork chops, and put them on a cutting board to season. I pretty much season everything with salt, pepper, onion, and garlic powder. However, my mom recently bought me "good shit" seasoning from Miranda Lamberts store and I've been using that. It can go on anything. It's worth the $15.
Okay so after you season cover the pork chops in flour. You don't need a whole lot just get the chops covered front and back.
Next stick them in the pan and brown them. Once they have browned turn down to low, and add your golden mushroom soup, and a can of water. Put the lid on and let them slowly cook. These will literally get so tender, and melt in your mouth.
That's all there is to it. I usually make these with mashed potatoes, and use the gravy from the chops to put on them. A vegetable, and roll.
I hope you guys enjoy!

Normally I would have step by step pictures with the instructions, but this was totally last minute. After my post yesterday I got a lot of questions about these, so I decided to share. If you make these please let me know how you liked them!! Happy pre Friday, friends!
