Spring break fun

I'm finally getting around to posting about our spring break. I needed a break from our break. It feels so good to be back into routine.

We started our week by Carson finally meeting baby Nash. I forgot my camera,so I don't have any pics until my sil uploads them. Carson had been asking, and asking to go see him then when we got there he just played with Pearson. Pearson loved the attention, then that afternoon we hit the park. It was the perfect park day.
Tuesday Ashland came to visit. She is graduating from Texas State in May. We went to downtown McKinney to take some fun senior pics. I think we loved every picture we took!
Wednesday we finally got to sleep in! Carson had gone on an over night work trip so it was just, Ashland, Olivia, and I. We had lunch at Olive Garden then picked my mom, and Parker up to go see rio 2.
I felt guilty going without C, but we can go again when it comes out.
After the movie we picked baby Camden up from daycare then my family came over for a yummy ham dinner.
Thursday we got up early again to go take some more senior pics. This time with horses.
The kids stayed entertained by these two sweet kids. They are a friend of Ashland's little brother. They own the horse we borrowed.
After pictures it was time for some bowling. They look thrilled to be there!
I have to brag that I won the first game. Even if it's only by a point, winning is winning!!
I got C a big dude shirt to match Cams little dude shirt.  These two adore their baby cousin.
Seeing her with a baby ALMOST makes me want another little baby. ALMOST!

Friday morning Ashland left then we headed to meet our best friends, Mary, Addyson, and Kason. On our way to meet them my car decided to play tricks on me.
I had a quarter of a tank of gas when I left the house, I made it a quarter of a mile down the rd and suddenly my car is telling me I'm about to run out. I did what any mom with two kids in the car would do... I made it to the nearest gas station to fill up, then call my husband. He got mad at me for freaking out and kept asking where could the gas I had just suddenly go. Rude!
Then that night C had baseball practice. I absolutely love his coaches. They are the sweetest most patient people ever.

We had such a busy week, it definitely went by way too fast.

Where paci go?

Saturday night Olivia lost her paci somewhere inside the house. This has been a huge blessing for me! I've been wanting to take it away since she turned 2. (She has only had it nap & bed time since then) She was looking all around for it saying, "paci, where are you?" In her sweetest little voice.
After about thirty minutes of looking she finally gave in to going to bed with her barbies. She wasn't too thrilled about it, but she did it. She really didn't fuss as much as I thought, just was being a pouty pants. I think she thought we could go to the store and I would buy her more. She was saying, "go to target, get more pacis."
The only time she really cried for it was at nap time yesterday. It only lasted about 30 minutes, not too terrible. Olivia still asks for it, but I just tell her its gone, she's a big girl now. So, now I'm on the hunt for a lost paci in the house. I feel like my baby isn't so much a baby anymore. She potty trained herself in a day a couple weeks ago, and now she's paci free. I'm proud of her, but also having a hard time that my last baby I will ever have is growing up!

Bounce town meet up

Today Olivia and I met with a mom group I just joined at bounce town.
I think she looks like such a big girl in this pic.
When we first got there she was a little shy, and just wanted to play in the baby area.
We had fun playing, and meeting new people we're looking forward to the next meet up!

Mom & me sports mania

A couple weeks ago I took Carson to a mommy & me event at the church. I think this was our third year to go, every year the theme is sports. They put up bounce houses, have a big Lego table, and a craft table. We have a good time when we go.
Although, it's mommy, & me he usually leaves me behind to play with friends in the bounce houses. There were three people from his kindergarten class this year, so I think that made it even more fun for him.
They serve cookies, popcorn, juice, and water.
As Carson and I were leaving Olivia was just waking up so I ended up dragging her along. She would have been mad if we left her.
Lolly likes meeting us there to hang out, and see Carson play.
It was a fun afternoon thanks lolly for meeting us up there.

Thankful Tuesday

Today I was thankful to get to spend my Tuesday off with my hubby. He needed some new glasses so we met up at LensCrafters to pick some out.
He picked these out for wake boarding and when he rides his dirt bike. I hope Olivia isn't scared of daddy when she sees him in these. He looks a little creepy. Ha! I didn't take pics of the other two pairs, but they are just black ray bans. After we picked out glasses we had a yummy lunch at pei wei. It was so good, we should eat there more!
I am also thankful that my big girl had no accidents and went potty at school! I'm a pretty lazy potty trainer. I just wait until my kids pretty much train themselves. I told her last week I wasn't buying her anymore diapers she needed to use the potty. So, she is now using the potty full time! We told her if she went a week using it with no accidents we would buy her a princess dress. She has been talking about it ever since. After my cardio class today I took her to get one, once we got to target she changed her mind and chose a new baby instead.
My big girl with her new baby. I really need to figure out where to put all these babies. Her closet is getting cluttered!
I can't leave my handsome dude out. Why is he so big? I can't get over it. Hope every one had a great Fat Tuesday.
