Friday Favorites

It's FriYAY! I'm linking up with Andrea again for Friday favorites.

I took the kids to build a bear this morning. They had been begging to go. I don't like stuffed animals, however, I gave in anyway. You're only a kid once, right?
Once they picked out which bear/dog/pony they wanted they got to stuffing.
We made sure to not stuff them too much. I wanted them to be soft, & squishy.
They picked hearts to put in them. Olivia insisted her pony needed two hearts

Naming their pony & dog was difficult. I wanted to make sure they gave them a cute name, not something ridiculous.
C needed a little help naming his. I asked him what his favorite character's name was on one of his favorites shows. He said it was Leo off Lab Rats, so that's what he named his dog, Leo.
 Olivia picked Brie.
They had a good time at build a bear, and can't wait to go back. On our way out they sang happy birthday to them.

After build a bear we went to Taco Bueno for lunch. You can't feel guilty eating out when you eat out here, it is so CHEAP! Today is free mexi dip and chips with any purchase. We ordered nachos, and got the mexi dip free. It could have been cheaper, but nachos is what C wanted.
Leo was hungry, too.

I'm working on Olivia's last details for her party in the morning. I found these free printables online.

I had to go up to Ryan's office to drop something off. I caught Carson's playing in Pops' office.

That's our FriYAY so far. If you're new thanks for stopping by. Have a fabulous weekend!

What's Up Wednesday- July

Time for What's Up Wednesday with MelSheaffer, and Shay
Lets get started!

What We’re Eating this week.....
Monday sausage, egg, cheese taquitos with hashbrowns
Tuesday Benihana
And that's how far I've got. Ha!

What I'm Reminiscing about.....
This question is a hard one this month. I have lots of things I reminisce about, but I'm trying to focus on living in the now. Not taking life for granted, and having fun.

 What I'm loving.....
My hair. This isn't the best pic, but it's GROWING!! I miss my long, long hair. Hopefully next week I can find time to get it trimmed up, and touch up these roots.

What We've been up to.....
We have had a busy, busy July! We dressed like cows to get free CFA! My kids were not thrilled as you can see.
We went to backyard adventures at church one morning. You can read about it here
A couple weeks ago we met up with my friend, Jess, and her girls for a play date. We went to Play Street Museum in Frisco. You can also read that here
We LOVE to swim. Lots of swimming with friends and family.

Pops got moved to a rehab center closer to home. The kids love going to visit him. Yesterday we let them push pops in his wheelchair.
My nephews came in town for a night last week to visit pops. While Katy, and Nash went to Aldi we hung out with Pearson at nonnies.
If you're looking for us in the evenings, or on the weekends check the lake.
I would be okay if it was lake weather year round.

Carson turned 7
Olivia turned 4

What I'm Dreading.....
Olivia playing soccer. Ha! The parking lot at the fields she plays on is a nightmare! Plus this means I will have to be up and out of the house by 8 AM most Saturdays. It will be worth it if she actually plays this season. Last Fall when I signed her up she would just stand on the field most of the time. I skipped the spring season, and she has begged me to sign her up ever since. We'll see how it goes.
What I'm Working On.....
Cleaning out closets and drawers. I'm feeling suffocated by my house, because I've let the kids closets get out of control.
What I'm Excited About.....
School to be back. Olivia is starting a new preschool I'm pretty excited about.

What I'm Watching........
The Bachelorette. Praise the Lord it's over! Too much drama.
I'm also watching RHOC. I can't stand the Meghan chick on there.
I think I expected Cait to have a more girly voice to go with her new look. Threw me off guard a little when I was watching. It was a little weird when watching, because I saw so many Bruce mannerisms during the show.

What I'm Listening to.....
My two kids argue. All summer there has been lots of arguing. I don't know how much longer I can handle it. They normally get along, but I'm thinking it's because they only see each other for about 4 hours a day during the school year.

What I'm Wearing.....
Dresses!
I love this black t shirt dress with sandals. So comfy for running errands in 100+ temps. You can also dress it up with some wedges for a date night.
I just added this dress to my wardrobe. It's lightweight and slimming. I wore this to Benihana last night it hid my food baby very well. Don't judge me when you see me wear it in several pics! It's my new favorite.

What I’m doing this weekend.....
This weekend is a busy one. We are having sassy pants fourth birthday party on Saturday, then Saturday evening I'm taking pictures for a family. Sunday we will be on the lake, Duh!

What I'm Looking Forward to next month.....
Next month we are finally going to visit my SIL and her family. I've been wanting to see her new house, but life has been a little crazy. My nephew is turning 2, and of course school starts back. I think I would be okay if we only had 3-4 weeks for summer break.

What else is new.....
My sister turned 26 yesterday. We got a rare family picture. We were missing Ryan. He got off late, and had to mow the yard.

Question of the month is:
What will you miss most about Summer?

The long days. I love how it's not dark until about 9PM. Also our laid back schedule. I like being on a schedule, but it's a lot of work to be on a strict one.

+++++++++++++

And then she was 4

So yesterday, my baby, turned 4.
I was a little sad. I love watching my kids grow, and learn new things, become more independent, but she's my last baby I will ever have. Her turning 4 means I only have a year left at home with her before she is off to Kindergarten. What am I going to do without my little sidekick around?
She made me feel better when she said, "it's okay mom I still have wittle feets!" The cutest wittle feets!
We kicked off her birthday with Cinnamon roll waffles for breakfast. Yum!
After breakfast my favorite neighbor brought over a little gift for the birthday girl. She loves her Mrs. Brenda.
She got her the cutest singing birds. You can even tell them what to say and they repeat it back in a bird voice.
Olivia and I ran a few errands then went and had a birthday lunch at Flying fish. She had been requesting pappasitos all week, then last minute changed her mind. Girl wanted her some fried shrimp.
After lunch we went by to see lolly and pops (I didn't get a picture) then headed out to the lake.
Some of our best friends came with us. These kids have been friends since birth. We love them!
The best part about the boat is getting to jump off one million times.
After lots of swimming, wake boarding, and wake surfing we headed in.
She told daddy she was driving us home.
We got home, took showers, ate pizza, and finally had cake & presents.
I love how her cake turned out. (ignore the dark pic, I didn't feel like editing)

We signed her up to play soccer again as part of her birthday gift, and I found these cute little work out clothes for her to wear at practice.
Baby girl had a great birthday, and is loving being 4. She said thank you to everyone who called, left text messages, fb comments, face timed. She felt the love.
